If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound?
Ah, a question with no verifiable answer, not to mention somewhat of a proverb.
Well, if soundwaves are all that is required to make a sound, then, yes it does make a sound. But if hearing devices, such as ears, are not around to hear the sound, is it still a sound?
Sound is a meaningless concept without the reciprocal factor of something capable of hearing the sound in the first place. Light is also a meaningless concept unless there is something utilize the light. So in that way, the answer would be no, it does not.
“I know where I am and who I am. I'm on the brink of disillusionment, on the eve of bitter sweet. I'm perpetually one step away from either collapse or rebirth. I am exactly where I need to be. Either way I go towards rebirth, for a total collapse often brings a rebirth." -Andrew Jaramillo
