Re: Hung Jury
Where the freaking hell did you get this information from? Let me guess, you got this from some preacher somewhere without even looking it up. You mean to tell me that you've never digested non-organic matter before? Repeat after me. Digestion of food has absolutely nothing to do with the DNA makeup of the food itself.

Re: Proven or not.
quote: Here is a better test. Erase everyone's memories and burn every page that has writing on it. Which theory will be rediscovered, evolution or creationism? Evolution can be rediscovered since the evidence is in the ground and written in the DNA of organisms. Christian creationism can not be rediscovered since it is stringently supported by a book that would not be rediscovered.
I actually used this same argument last month to argue in a philosophy debate why art is more important than science.

Re: Hung Jury
quote: If the evidence is so obvious and so overpowering that it totally destroys Creationism, why are you and everyone else on forums such as these wasting your time arguing with ignorant and stubborn morans like me, as others have labeled us?http://http://http://
Because if we remain passive in this matter, you people will eventually take over the world and force the rest of us to be as ignorant as you at gun point.

Re: Proven or not.
quote: You're looking at this as though God is unable to talk to us, Christianity would be "rediscovered" with no problem because God is able to talk to His people.
Yes, but in modern days that usually resulted in mass suicides, snipings, or births of doomsday cults. The question is how do you know who God has spoken to and who are just plane crazy or power hungry?

Re: Proven or not.
quote: There is, however, only one way to be certain that someone has really been spoken to by God, and that is for God to confirm it by revealing Himself to you through the Bible, prayer or circumstances.
Refer to this thread for my explanation to why the bible is not an accurate source of communication with God. Prayer is a one way communication from me to God, IFF there is a God. Circumstances can be explained by coincidences, cause and effect, and plane chance.

Re: Proven or not.
quote: Actually, I find quoting from the BIBLE to be more "logical"(in debate) than attempting to find out how economic interests prevent (even involuntarily)good will from having its magnitude.
Huh?

Re: Proven or not here I come.
quote: There was the "problem" of SoulFire's little &. That certainly works in debate where you linked quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quoting from the bible is hardly a logical argument. For one thing, anyone could argue that it is a circular argument by using the bible as a reference for such a major logical argument such as the existence of God and his role in life. Why is it a circular argument? First, we -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- for if the "circularity" comes from man and not GOD then back to Soul Fire. I dont bite. If you want that again let me know.
I still don't understand what you mean. In high school, I had to beat my head with a hammer all year long to get a decent grade in creative writing. I can't read between the lines. Please clarify.
