I have been desparately seeking Peter Ustinov's "The Old Man and Mr. Smith" but it is out of print. I have read the book in my native language (Greek). In it, there is a quotation that I wish to include in a book I am writing in English. I need the exact quotation, not just a translation from Greek back to English. I have seen that you have read the book I am looking for. Could you possibly help me by finding the quotation for me? It goes like this "There is nothing more sterile, lifeless, and outrageously negative in your Creation than perfection." (Mr Smith tells the Old Man).
Much obliged!
