Was it moral men or something else?
The source was "genetically stored memories from the past," based upon what was written, and the fact the 24 books of the Old testament were composed by many different writers, over extraordinarily long periods of time and far removed from one another. The "author" was that oft noticed Third Eye we can now identify as the Collective Unconscious mind.In each generation, that source "spoke" with men and revealed more supporting evidence for the moral recommendations upon which our species depends for actual survival and adaptation to the growing environment of civilization. The Unconscious mind is only unconscious in the sense that we, consciously, have neither noticed it nor tried be conscious of it. But the Unconscious mind is quite well aware of us, and is that long-suspected Third Eye which has subtly become known to us in many ways. The Unconscious mind is what Jesus called the son-of-God. The Unconscious mind is immortal in that it reappears in every generation to add to those Unconscious minds in the Collective Unconscious of the generating already living. The Unconscious mind is the reflection of the past Reality within which we are both trapped and yet nurtured. The Unconscious mind is the image of this God which unfolds the next frame of the Life we enjoy at His discretion. The logic for this follows from the fact the Unconscious mind contains all the Truth of our phylogenetic past experiences, even prior to that perhaps. The Unconscious mind inside us KNOWS the truth because we, in our past lives, have lived through all those millions of years. The concrete EVIDENCE for this can be found the experimental studies and theories in writings such as "Subliminal: How Your Unconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior, by Leonard Mlodinow. Leonard Mlodinow, the best-selling author of The Drunkard’s Walk and coauthor of The Grand Design (with Stephen Hawking), gives us a startling and eye-opening examination of how the unconscious mind shapes our experience of the world and how, for instance, we often misperceive our relationships with family, friends, and business associates, misunderstand the reasons for our investment decisions, and misremember important events. The meaning of this is that we are about to evolve into a new State of Mind wherein we WILL be conscious of our own Unconscious past experience and be JUDGED by that facility inside ourselves. John 12:48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.` Edited by Admin, : Fix underlining.

Yes. It is hard to know exactly what adjective to put to this kind of copying. But many go back to Egypt and Sumer. This is the latest I have read. 2007-Doc Zone - Pagan Christ 1 of 3 - Vido Dailymotion RegardsDL

Why would moral men write up God to be such an immoral prick as compared to Satan? RegardsDL

I'm certainly not going to watch some youtube video; sorry but my time is too valuable to waste like that.
Of course many parts of the Bible were written by folk with an agenda. I already explained some of the agendas too you. See Message 5.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I don't know what to say to all this. What you call the unconscious mind I call a cosmic consciousness. I do not like universal consciousness. From what you say, I was with it the one time. It was not pleasant but I would not change a thing. Lend me your ear for a moment. The Godhead I know in a nutshell.I was a skeptic till the age of 39. I then had an apotheosis and later branded myself an esoteric ecumenist and Gnostic Christian. Gnostic Christian because I exemplify this quote from William Blake. Both read the Bible day and night, But thou read'st black where I read white. This refers to how Gnostics tend to reverse, for moral reasons, what Christians see in the Bible. We tend to recognize the evil ways of O T God where literal Christians will see God’s killing as good. Christians are sheep where Gnostic Christians are goats. This is perhaps why we see the use of a Jesus scapegoat as immoral, while theists like to make Jesus their beast of burden. An immoral position. During my apotheosis, something that only lasted 5 or 6 seconds, the only things of note to happen was that my paradigm of reality was confirmed and I was chastised to think more demographically. What I found was what I call a cosmic consciousness. Not a new term but one that is a close but not exact fit. I recognize that I have no proof. That is always the way with apotheosis. This is also why I prefer to stick to issues of morality because no one has yet been able to prove that God is real and I have no more proof than they for the cosmic consciousness. The cosmic consciousness is not a miracle working God. He does not interfere with us save when one of us finds it. Not a common thing from what I can see. It is a part of nature and our next evolutionary step. I tend to have more in common with atheists who ignore what they see as my delusion because our morals are basically identical. Theist tend not to like me much as I have no respect for literalists and fundamentals and think that most Christians have tribal mentalities and poor morals. I am rather between a rock and a hard place but this I cannot help. I am happy to be questioned on what I believe but whether or not God exists is basically irrelevant to this world for all that he does not do, and I prefer to thrash out moral issues that can actually find an end point. The search for God is never ending when you are of the Gnostic persuasion. My apotheosis basically says that I am to discard whatever God I found, God as a set of rules that is, not idol worship it but instead, raise my bar and seek further. My apotheosis also showed me that God has no need for love, adoration or obedience. He has no needs. Man has dominion here on earth and is to be and is the supreme being. I don't know if you care to comment. RegardsDL

If you have a point then post it here. If you think someone has a point, bring them here.

Greatest I am writes: Why would moral men write up God to be such an immoral prick as compared to Satan? If we're talking about the Old Testament, I don't think it casts either in a favorable light. You asked whether the Bible was the word of God or Satan, but the answer is neither. Men (and women) of all ilks wrote every book ever written, including the Bible. --Percy

I agree but that does not answer the question. After counting the bodies, how can you say that both Satan and God are both shown in an unfavorable light? Does one not seem less moral than the other to you? RegardsDL

Greatest I am writes: After counting the bodies, how can you say that both Satan and God are both shown in an unfavorable light? After counting the bodies? Are you seriously claiming that the one with the fewer murders is being portrayed favorably? Anyway, it requires no inventory to know that the Bible recounts many more murders on God's behalf than Satan's. What's this got to do with Biblical authorship? --Percy

After counting the bodies? Are you seriously claiming that the one with the fewer murders is being portrayed favorably? The opposite actually.
Anyway, it requires no inventory to know that the Bible recounts many more murders on God's behalf than Satan's. Exactly yet Satan is depicted as the evil one. Who do you think is more evil?
What's this got to do with Biblical authorship? If it is a total lie and giving divinity to the evil instead of the good then it could be Satan's authorship. RegardsDL Edited by Greatest I am, : No reason given. Edited by Admin, : Fix quotes.

Well, as I've said, the Bible was written by men.

If inconceivable, it may be because of Satanic influence as he is the deceiver. If you are a believer that is. RegardsDL
