What makes you think all conservatives are Christian?There is a significant minority of us who are pro-science and fiscal conservatives, not the soc-cons who get all the press.

The pro-science and fiscal conservatives are the minority, as I stated.But after many years we are becoming more vocal and getting far less willing to take crap from either the lefties or the soc-cons.Better get used to it.

No, with typical leftie logic you group everyone together. You can't seem to deal with folks as individuals--you have to lump them all into (over)broad groups. Then you disparage the whole group.If you really look around you will find that there are a lot of rational conservatives who support science and don't follow the soc-con dogma.But you can bet the MSM doesn't know they exist--they don't fit the agenda.You don't seem to know they exist either.

Don't look at me. The MSM is mostly made up of lefties, so it's not on my shoulders.

There are more issues out there than gay rights.Trying to save science is far more important to our overall health and safety. Without science this nation is going under.The soc-cons are willing to substitute myth and superstition for real science, and have their beliefs mandated by the government. That must be defeated. That's the way back to the Dark Ages.So you fight your battles and I'll fight mine.

Does the term "dead on arrival" mean anything to you?How about the agreement Reagan had with the democrats in his first term to raise taxes if they cut spending? And how he allowed taxes to be raised but then the democrats raised spending even more? And then again?Plenty of blame to go around. How about we just blame almost all politicians instead of playing party politics?

OK, lets.Below is a link to the voting records of all 100 senators as determined by the American Conservative Union.They range from a low near 0 for liberal senators to a high of near 100 for conservative senators. You don't need to know what was being voted on.What is important, and what you are ignoring, is that a conservative organization has established a ranking system that shows that those two senators are not arch conservatives, as you have claimed. They are about the middle of the road on their scale.You were wrong. Don't dig the hole any deeper.

Look their records up on any scale you like.And perhaps you could include with your response some evidence (as I have), not just your unsupported opinion.
