Chuck "head up his" Asay is always good for a laugh:
at him (he's so consistent):
Questions for Chucky:
  1. where are the bank bailouts?
  2. where is corporate welfare?
  3. where are the tax cuts for the rich?
  4. where are the "special deals" for big corporations?
  5. does "Gov't Waste" include the highly excessive Military Budget?
  6. what specifically is wrong with the Davis-Bacon act?(a)
  7. where does the money go once it is paid to the American people?
  8. do you have a clue?
Enjoy
(a) Davis—Bacon Act of 1931 - Wikipedia
quote:
The Davis—Bacon Act of 1931 is a United States federal law which established the requirement for paying prevailing wages on public works projects. All federal government construction contracts, and most contracts for federally assisted construction over $2,000, must include provisions for paying workers on-site no less than the locally prevailing wages and benefits paid on similar projects.

Hi Taz, yes amazing the turnabout when it's personal.
I leave you with the following link.
http://www.faculty.fairfield.edu/...cation/income&wealth.htm
quote:
The bottom 60% of households possess only 4% of the nation's wealth while it earns 26.8% of all income.
Like the saying goes, everyone is a conservative until they can't afford to stay afloat anymore.
And obviously nobody in the bottom 60% of households should vote for politicians that promise to take more away from them, not just health care but social security and all the other benefits, while still giving tax breaks to those who need it the least.
Enjoy.

The MSM is mostly made up of lefties, so it's not on my shoulders.
So even you have bought the hoary old sly lies of Rush et al.
Care to provide evidence of any news media owned by liberals?
Do you think Faux Spews is liberal? CNN?
Enjoy.

Hi Perdition
The question was not what they are but who they are: name names.
Fiscal conservatives generally either don't cre about the social issues, or can even be liberal with respect to them, but don't want a large government or a lot of governmental spending. They're usually for lower taxes.
Correction: they are usually for balancing the budget and responsible spending.
There are many financial conservatives in the democratic party.
There used to be a majority of financial conservatives in the republican party, but they have been run over by religious conservatives.
Social conservatives focus on social issues, such as gun rights, gay marriage, mandating religion, abortion, etc and make up the majority of the Republican base.
Which can be broken down into religious conservatives and ethical conservatives, where the religious conservatives try to impose religious dogma on people, laws and government, while ethical conservatives try to encourage laws and behavior that are ethical.
This would include laws for greater equality for all people, gays, immigrants, women, etc etc etc. The gay republicans would fit in this group.
Do you deny that the religious conservatives have taken over the republican party?
Enjoy.

visual aid for Chucky A.
Some things Asay forgot:
http://jackdean.posterous.com/...s-is-what-class-war-looks-l
quote:
This will be a very short diary. I just wanted to get this chart out there. I originally received it as a post by the Facebook group "The Christian Left." This chart puts the class war in simple, visual terms. On the left you have the "shared sacrifices" and "painful cuts" that the Republicans claim we must make to get our fiscal house in order. On the right, you can plainly see WHY these cuts are "necessary." The reason? Because we already gave away all that money to America's wealthiest individuals and corporations.
This just mirrors what we're seeing in Wisconsin, where Governor Walker (R-Koch) claims that ordinary public sector workers need to fork over at least $137 million to save the budget. Problem is, he just gave away $117 million in tax breaks for his corporate pals. This is out and out class warfare. The big corporations in America have decided that they can get even richer by raiding the public treasury. It's time for the middle class to stand up and defend itself!
Enjoy
