Without the apostrophe distinguishing we're from were and without the punctuation separating God, that sentence is unreadable. No shit, I truly could not figure out what that sentence meant when I first read it. I thought you were trying to say that God exists and that he wasn't a closed system.
Proper spelling and punctuation are not optional, folks. It serious impedes the legibility of your posts when you don't write correctly.

Speaking personally, I find few things more awesome than contemplating this vast and majestic process of evolution, the ebb and flow of successive biotas through geological time. Creationists and others who cannot for ideological or religious reasons accept the fact of evolution miss out a great deal, and are left with a claustrophobic little universe in which nothing happens and nothing changes.
