and we only have two (very prolific) creationists along with some real professional biologists.
If one of the prolific creationists is a guy called guzman, you'd hardly need professional biologists to tear him apart. I just read a funny bit where he seems to think that when a pathogen develops resistance to an antibiotic, this involves each individual organism gaining the advantageous mutation, and surviving. He's using this as an illustration that evos are wrong in saying that it is population groups, not individuals, who evolve.
It makes me feel proud of some of our EvC creationists.
I sometimes drop by Evolution is Dead, but it's been very slow lately. Approximately unmoderated, but it never seems to need much, anyway.
I used to look in there too, and it was always a quiet smallish group, but recently (like evolution, apparently) it seems to have died.
The interesting thing about it was that, although it's a creationist site, the creationists were always outnumbered and piled onto by the evos, and that seems to be pretty much the case on nearly every evo/creo debate site I know. In other words, the imbalance we see here is pretty much everywhere.
On infidels, it's ridiculous, as you might expect, and I haven't bothered to join the pile on yet.

Definitely not the place for you, then, Ray!
Two days later, having not even made one post, Jar banned me.
Really? Did he say why?
censorship works.
The Internet as a whole isn't censored, and it's very important that it isn't, but individual website owners with discussion forums have the right to ban anyone they want to. Percy has the right here, but when he bans someone, he knows very well that he is not censoring their opinions from being expressed on the Internet at all. It is a big place.
Look at yourself. You have 3266 posts on this website as I'm writing, and anyone in the world who can understand English is free to read your opinions. That's probably about three books' worth of opinions. And it's likely you've posted thousands more elsewhere. So why this whining about censorship?
Also, there's nothing to stop you from having your own website with a discussion forum. You can do exactly what Percy and Jar have done, and you would have the right to shape it to be the kind of place that hosts the kind of discussions you're interested in. You could ban Jar if he turned up, and I'm sure you'd ban me.
I agree with you that this is one of the best boards dealing with EvC and related issues.
I certainly would hate to see you unable to post your opinions all over the 'net. I think that you inadvertently do more for the anti-creationist cause than any fifty "evos" combined.
