Ghoti
To illustrate the intricacies of English spelling and pronunciation, I devised the following riddle. Can anyone rationalize the pronunciation of the last word?
An English herring once was heard
to say it wished to be a bird.
But it would never get its wish,
since it was caught when still a ghoti.

I type things correctly and still people don't understand.
The issues concerned with writing a good post are spelling, grammar, style, consistency, and content.
If people don't understand what you write, and your spelling, grammar, style, and consistency are OK, then maybe you should consider that the content is lacking?

favorite.
'Favourite' = British spelling, 'favorite' = American English spelling.

Re: busted!
I GUESS CAPITOLS DON'T MATTER.
Unless you are trying to turn this into a political debate, capitols indeed do not matter for this discussion. Capitals are a different story.

How does the google tool bar spell it? That is what he was preaching to me.
No, he was telling you to do a spelling check at all, any spelling check.
The bible is written very well, yet many people do not understand it's meaning.
Part of being 'written well' is to be comprehensible. If a lot of people do not understand the Bible, then it lacks in clarity, apparently.
I could care less
Actually, you couldn't. That's part of the point of this thread.

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science." - Charles Darwin.
Did you know that most of the time your computer is doing nothing? What if you could make it do something really useful? Like helping scientists understand diseases? Your computer could even be instrumental in finding a cure for HIV/AIDS. Wouldn't that be something? If you agree, then join World Community Grid now and download a simple, free tool that lets you and your computer do your share in helping humanity. After all, you are part of it, so why not take part in it?

I guess that makes Einsteins theory a flop.
Well, considering that Einstein's papers on his theory were intended for fellow physicists, I think his theory was received very well. The Bible however, its intended audience being common people, demonstrably falls short, by your own admission.
