Thanks. Hope it catches on.
Just to let you know, I am pretty certain Phat has also expressed this before. In fact I believe he was hinting at it within the post I nominated above. holmes "...what a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away.."(D. Bros)

In Message 99 RAZD very elegantly describes the problem that each of us faces when we peer out of the window of our mind.
Especially the last paragraph is a gem of wisdom.

Wow, Mike not only covers a lot of bases in the just right number of words but the choice of words is excellent writing.
I guess it helps that I agree with him too .

I concur!
Eloquent and succinct, this post is miles away from Mike's posts on similar threads this time last year. and I'd still say that even if I didn't agree with the content

Forum: Biological Evolution Thread: where was the transition within fossil record?? [Stalled: randman] Post #: 237 *Sigh* Whereas I'm reduced to taunting and insulting randman, mark24 manages to write a well-composed post explaining the fallacies of randman's "missing fossil argument". I'm glad someone is keeping a cool head (although it can't be all that much fun). Good quality example of predictions and verifications of theory. Thoroughly well written besides.

The secrets of a poem
have many writers vexed, but for those of us who know 'em a poem is just text. "Just text?", I hear you ask,"But what say you of rhyming?" Well, rhyming is a tricky task, but even trickier is timing. So I appreciate your toast, and I thank you, Mr. Nose, But I think that in a normal post, I will kindly stick to prose. {To my horror and dismay I found that "surly" doesn't mean what I thought I means and that I also made a very stupid spelling error ("appricate"). I hope the poem looks better now.} This message has been edited by Parasomnium, 28-Oct-2005 07:27 PM
