Yes, I was saying that demons influence people even when they do not know it. Have you ever wondered where humans can get such ideas of hatred or evil? How a man can kill another man just because of the color of his skin, or how a man could kill an animal for no reason? How a man could torture an innocent creature, or destroy property only for the sake of chaos? Those who do those things are influenced by demons, as I belive. What do you think causes a man to do those things without reason?

No, I don't. People are answering my questions, so by all means shall I answer theirs, but thank you.

That is a very good answer. I suppose that many religious people like to know(or rather think, in your point of view) that there is a place after death where we can be with our loved ones forever, though that is not my reason. Many others, I assume, like to feel apart of something greater than themselves. Thank you for your answer, it was one that I was looking for. Very direct.

Re: Define "greater than oneself"
I meant the term as in spiritualy. To feel a part of something spiritually greater than oneself. Democracy and communities are greater things than oneself because they affect others.

Re: It's a matter of choice
Very well, that is a good answer. Thank you, but Santa Claus was real, though I know this is off topic.

I do not belive that demons possess anyone, but they can lead them to do evil things. Ted Bundy, in my opinion, was definatley following the instructions of demons wether he knew it or not. And as for my college training, I hope to become a zoologist with a specialty in large cats, though I will try to take a psych class or two. As for mental disorders, I think that some of them are manipulated by demons.

It depends on how you see it. God did create the devil, and he knew or at least let the devil become arrogant and greedy, and he knew or allowed the devil to create demons and abuse people's free will. Some people, including myself, belive that God knew all of these things with the devil would happen, while others are content with the fact that the devil will try to fool you and never try to think why.

That was not what I meant or intended to say. One can exist without evil, at least in heaven. And in no way am I saying that evil is good because God may have(probley) created it. God created cancer, and it is not good, though it is an organism. God created ebola, and that is very, very bad. I suppose that I shouldn't compare disease with evil anways.

Re: Any omnipotent being allows evil to exsit
He only allows evil to exist so that we might choose Him or evil. It's a test really, designed to get people to love Him with their own free will. It's quite nice if you think about it. He loves us so much that He gives us the choice to love Him back.

Re: Any omnipotent being allows evil to exsit
God allowed evil to be created by the devil. I do not find him resposible. He allowed evil to be created so that we would choose Him out of free will. Don't blame him, blame to devil or the attacker if you are raped or have your head smashed in. Life is difficult for a reason. It's easier to choose to be evil, though, isn't it? That's why evil runs so rampant, I think.

Re: Any omnipotent being allows evil to exsit
Clever, and noted, but I was reffering to God as the one not really responisble. I do not blame Him because He only does this to earn our love. Evil doesn't just harm. Some corrupt priests can heal with the devil's power, just as pure ones can heal with God's power. The devil can cause good things to happen when they shouldn't, just as God can cause good things to happen. The difference is that God does it with love, and the devil does it with hate and no real power. The devil merely copies God.

I agree totally with you. I think that some athiests on some level know that just beause they deny God, they can't be protected from the devil.

Re: Any omnipotent being allows evil to exsit
Depends on why I got beat up. If I had it coming, sure. Personally, if this really happened, I wouldn't be angry, but that is just me. If God had someone beat me up because I sinned in such a way that He was displeased, I wouldn't be angry. I don't recall ever being angry at God, though I have questioned Him.

Re: Any omnipotent being allows evil to exsit
Humans are rather deaf and blind to God, so I think He allows some of these things to happen so that we relize that He's there and He loves us. If you weren't intending on forcing me to love you, then sure, I would take the beating in order for you to show me that you love me.
