Why should it actually say that when it's so clearly inferred from the fact that they appeared only to God's specially chosen people for the special purpose of validating His word and Jesus' identity as the Messiah? These claims by nobodies whose experiences amount to nothing, and contradict the Bible anyway, are ridiculous. If you were God's chosen to spread the message of your silly visions you wouldn't be encountering so much resistance, God would make the way open for you as He did for his spokesmen in Bible times. You could not be more wrong. Jesus spoke to the poor, the blind, those with leprosy, and those possessed by demons. God reaches out to the sinner. What kind of persons do you think our God and the angels are that they would not even speak to lowly people?

You seem to have many things confused. For one thing the specially chosen spokesmen weren't anything but "lowly people" themselves until they were chosen.But you are giving an example here of Jesus when He was on the earth, and trying to make that some kind of proof that He would appear after His resurrection to people for no special reason. But at that point they all had the Holy Spirit and that's how God communicates with all of us now, as I keep saying, not through manifestations, personal appearances, visions etc.There's no reason for personal appearances after the Holy Spirit has come, and there wasn't any reason for personal appearances in any case except for the purpose of authenticating God's word and the identity of the Messiah. Here is a genuine photograph of the Holy Spirit descending like or as a dove would descend. Here is a photograph of the Holy Spirit in bodily form and not in flight. Although, this is not Jesus in this particular painting, this is what the Holy Spirit would have looked like alighting and remaining upon Jesus in bodily form. The Halo can be found in scripture as the Spirit of God alighting and remaining upon Jesus in bodily form.Mathew 3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.John 1:32. John testified saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him."Luke 3:22. I looked at various English translations and found that there was some ambiguity regarding this reading with most translation indicating descending in the form of a dove. No one looked the original Greek.Now you've cited that original Greek, but that was not so helpful for me. The translation I got from google was very also unhelpfulCould you help out with the Greek?
