A better scenario.
More likely, god created the world suddenly, and then after waiting several million years for the expanding universe to cool sufficiently so that atoms, molecules, and rocks could form, she notice that some rocks pull other rocks to themselves and said, "Whoa! That is totally cool and unexpected! I'm sure to get an A for this project!"
