Intermediate Quad/Bi Pelvises
Rei: "Besides, what sort of barrier is there that you think prevents gradualistic change from switching from a quadroped pelvis to a biped? I can give you tons of intermediates, past and present."
Sometime if you have the time and opportunity, I would sincerely appreciate a good site on this subject. One with plenty of pictures and graphics to help demonstrate the intermediate progressions. Thanks.

Re: Intermediate Quad/Bi Pelvises
"Your call as to which you would like to see."
------------------
I'm particularly looking for intermediates between pre-totally upright hominids and homo sapiens, and I would like to see non-Neanderthal and non-Cromagnon pelvic structure that clearly exhibits the individual's ability to walk totally upright without the trademark Chimp "bowlegged waddle." You know, with the legs squarely underneath the torso.

County Roads Take Me Home
"I want to say for the record if I am wrong, I will fall." The Elder
I want to say for the record that old Rte. 460 will take you from St. Louis to Virginia Beach, and (having been replaced by I-64) is now largely county or state maintained, and is frequently used by hikers, bikers, and farm equipment." Peace.

Re: County Roads Take Me Home
Elder:
For the moment you will have to take my word for it that I have taken U.S. Route 460 from Southern Illinois to Norfolk, Va. I am not able to find you a suitable map online, but the route is now replaced with I-64, a fact you may research yourself.
But as a parallel example, I offer: http:IIS 10.0 Detailed Error - 404.0 - Not Found where a group is trying to preserve the old federal highway known as Rte 40, which I have taken from Cumberland, Maryland west to Terre Haute, Indiana. This route was largely replaced by I-70.
