What is to be taken literally?

This is, of course, not at all obvious. It is generally a very bad idea to be telling others what they think, feel or the reasons for their actions. That is especially true with the very small amount of information that you have from what is posted to this board.I might also ask you why you wouldn't want to look at what close enough to all the influential scientists of the world have concluded. Concluded after decades of data gathering and careful analsysis. Information and logic that it is "obvious" that you know nearly nothing about. (see, how do you feel being told something about yourself based on very little information)

Other than it is wrong! That is why literal Bible believers gave it up a couple of centuries ago and why the majority of Christians today understand that it is not a science text book.The reason it isn't accepted is there is ample evidence that show that the common, literal interpretations are incorrect when measured against the real world.
