At the risk of causing this topic to spiral out of control, I want to address the issue of the
source of wisdom for a moment.
Of course, Falwell (and others) claim God as their source of wisdom yet all too often use their own fallible and biased opinions when speaking out in public.

Surely Prov 3:5-7 (as quoted) says ”don’t make you own mind up on this or anything, do only as the lord says, or he will spank you?’. Where is mind, or free will for that matter in any of that?
Quite simply, I am showcasing two basic views on free will and mind:
View#1: Free Will is unencumbered by religious dogma and the imposition of ethics or morality on a freely thinking individual.
View#2: Presupposing that God exists, is loving, and wants the best for us within His basic commandment of Love the Lord with
all thine heart, soul, mind, and strength... Freewill is more narrowly defined as freedom to obey
or reject an absolute.
Ohnhai, you well know that we have gotten into these issues concerning God (Is He or Is He not?) religion (legislation of morality or exclusion of any religion from public education)
and free speech (the right to speak versus the right to hear or not hear in context...)
and you know we will be discussing these same things many years from now!
I enjoy the interchange, however! How ya doin, by the way?
