Are you implying that your quotations are the last word on the respective issues?Is there any evidence for a 6,000 year old earth (or whatever age your theological beliefs force you to support)?How does your alternative paradigm explain the consistency of radiometric dating, examples of which are provided here and here? Or the ability of K/Ar dating to reconcile with the historical eruption of Mt Vesuvius mentioned here? And does your alternative paradigm cope with the fact that the supernova 1987A measurements demonstrate that the Large Magellanic Cloud is 168,000 light years away and therefore the universe must be at least 168,000 years old?
