Sidelined outlines the pathetic emphasis on political correctness in a certain country, by expounding upon the intellectual bankruptcy of the ardently religious, whom think the world is out to get them and their profit, ahem........prophet.

This part amused me;

Forgive my use of the meme-word, freedom, but like that great tyrant over the pond has touted, "thank goodness for freedom". But never mind freedom of religion, how about freedom from it!

I declare that I have not named any specific deities or religious groups in this post. Forgive my ambigous use of grandiose efforts at poetically valid articulation. All retaliatory incumbently-based reasoning on your part, is rendered null and void pending evidence that I am partaking of antagonization by means of specific literature. I hereby plee via honourable decree, that I have full validity of a poetic license, untill atleast two thousand and twenty three.

I can't believe you didn't get a nomination in so long.

No really though, to get a POTM, all one needs is a moment of cleverness IMHO. The ant on the rubber strip, thingy, seemed like a clever way to teach the layman. I would normally be too scared to even read anything in the Cosmology section.

Ned's right though Percy, many POTM-worthy posts don't get nominated. I think it's probably because not many get involved in nominating.

I was very impressed by Crashfrog's post. I suspect most of his posts are quality, but I'm a lazy reader lately. He seems to have me consulting the dictionary every time I read him.
