I am reminded of 2006.
After the 2004 election, Democrats were very vocal about voting machines (particularly Diebold machines, and especially in Ohio), and this type of message board commentary went on for years.
But it played low just after the Democratic success in the 2006 midterms (albeit with a powerful resurgence, when the focus was the upcoming 2008 election).
After Republicans got clobbered in 2006, conservative boards were full of lines like, "We sure don't have to hear Democrats screaming about Diebold now".
Now 2022...
Democrats are about to get a defeat in the midterms, so how will that change the commentary about voting machines and political malfeasance?
How long will the tempering last?
