Re: Next Stop: HELL
From what I've read PRC is saying that if a catholic votes for Trump then they go to hell. If a catholic votes for Biden then they go to hell. If a catholic eats fish on an alternate Friday following the third night after the vernal equinox then they go to hell. Apparently, hell holds a special place for catholics. Or is that the other way around?

No, you aren't. You are using coercion. And that's not friendly.

Re: Next Stop: HELL
But you don't believe that, do you, Tangle?
Getting back to the election, it is being said by many that these 2020 Elections are some of the most important elections in the history of our republic.
It would be advised for everyone to really look at the issues and understand how each side thinks an believes and why. It is no sin to read the belief statements of the opposition. Only when you actually understand how another man thinks can you honestly form an opinion and belief which either opposes them or comes to a consensual agreement with them.

We must realize that the Reformation world view leads in the direction of government freedom. But the humanist world view with inevitable certainty leads in the direction of statism. This is so because humanists, having no god, must put something at the center, and it is inevitably society, government, or the state.- Francis A. Schaeffer

Would it be accurate to say that no matter how much Biden says he believes in Jesus and is a Christian you will probably not believe him?
I would also like to hear why Medicare for people over 65 doesn't make Jesus cry, but Medicare for everyone does make Jesus cry.

No. And for the record and I will state it now, I likely will vote for Biden. This against my fears and the majority of my church. I have prayed about it and the way that I see it, the Republican Agenda is not going to help as many people as will the Democratic one. Granted we likely will suffer the full impact of the currency crash and the next Great Depression. All of us will likely suffer. As a Christian, I will face the reality of a bunch of godless pagans as they attempt to remake the world while getting rid of religion, but I will argue against them. In addition, many Christians prophecies have Trump winning a 2nd term, and I figure that if I go against that, it justifies my claim on being a political moderatee, while also "testing the spirits". I mean, if the guy gets in again, even while I vote against him, it is either a move of Christ or the Anti Christ!
I would also like to hear why Medicare for people over 65 doesn't make Jesus cry, but Medicare for everyone does make Jesus cry.
I just hope and pray that the social programs hold together as the currency collapses.

There you go again posting the absurd notion that Christianity is anything significant or important enough for anyone to want to get rid of it.
Phat, Christianity, particularly the US Evangelical Christian Cult of Ignorance is simply far to pathetic to waste time trying to get rid of it. It is so filled with utter nonsense that quite honestly it needs to just be left alone to die of it's own internal and eternal cancers.
Eventually folk will realize it is nothing but the carny freak show.

You gont get to define the term. What if I supported some liberal causes such as social security and medicare yet also rejected being told how i must (or should) think and sympathy for every life that supposedly mattered that was being ignored by the mainstream? What if I opposed BLM due to its Marxist underpinnings and due to the fact that they support Palestine over Israel?
Because I do think Biden (more specifically Bidens platform) is better for my union and my own future than is Trumps, but I can also be quite conservative when I perceive that it might help me....its just that im poor enough (and not a small business owner nor home hwner) that I feel that Trumps agenda is out to save wealthier fortunes and corporations that would otherwise fail. If he gets in another 4 years, the masses that seek to cut in the lunch line ahead of me will get even more feisty and I think its best to placate them now. I have little real hope for the future with Biden/Harris, but even less with Trump.

Those are certainly not "liberal causes". Our Canadian Conservatives support them.

So what? I support both.

That isn't conservative. It's just self-centered.
