It was quite literally true. Racism, sexism, white supremacy, homophobia, xenophobia, Islamophobia, etc. aren't "deplorable"? The supporters of Trump didn't include a huge number of such "deplorable" people?
You don't have to be a bigot to support Trump, but it sure helps.
But then again, to ensure that I am actually sticking to the topic, you're quote mining her. You are doing precisely the same thing to her that the media did to Gore when they insisted he said he "invented the internet" (which he never did nor even implied.)
Here's your chance: Why don't you give us her full statement in complete context.
Remember to include what she said right after that first "basket" comment...because there was more than one basket, you'll recall.
