Recreational Marijuana is quite popular and profitable here in Colorado. Better the state make the money versus organized crime.
Pot is harmless in moderation, though I have found that it makes me too carnally minded and less spiritually disciplined, which is why I largely avoid it.
People are gonna do what they do regardless of legality or not, so the tax benefits are reason enough to consider state legalization. When I was younger I smoked nearly every day, but stopped after I was "saved".
