A week today I start an MSc in Molecular Genetics at the University of Leicester.
From my non-academic perspective that sounds incredibly intimidating.
I was one of those that really enjoyed my career and haven't regretted my choices. My choice was from age 19 on, was to focus on my career which didn't involve academia. However as I've gotten older, and older , and older, I really miss having the breadth of knowledge of the majority of people on this forum. (In some ways this forum is my later in life university course. )
It looks like you are getting the best of it all. You'll become more knowledgeable, move into a line of work that interests you more and frankly be able to contribute more to society.
Good for you
Cheers
