In a recent post, it seems I was not able to use the word "l-i-e." When I did, the system replaced the word with asterisks. Is there a particular reason that this common, English word referring to a noun's (meta)physical location has been banned? I am not allowed to say, "The power of the US government lies with all three branches, co-equally" without resorting to ASCII codes?
Look, I understand your skittishness regarding people calling others "liars" (well, actually, that's a lie...I don't understand the skittishness...I understand that you have it, not the tortured justification you have for it), but you do realize that you have removed from use one of the most common words in the English language, yes?
We're to be censored now?
