Give Refpunk a Thread
I think Refpunk's topic should be promoted, as well.
Not because I'm feeling particularly feisty, but because when someone is rushing around dragging other threads off topic, it seems a good idea to give him one of his own, so he can get all of his obsessions off his chest without interfering with adult discussions elsewhere. It's practical.

Refpunk only knows a few pat phrases, clichés and will never discuss any details or evidence. He has not demonstrated any substance or provided any evidence that he has ever thought at any depth on these issues.
Right. He's a YEC, you're saying. We know that. There's no such thing as a YEC who's brought any substance to the issues we debate here, and a YEC who's thought at depth on these issues is a contradiction in terms. In depth thinking would make him into an ex-YEC.
The reason that I suggested that he should have his own thread was so that he could rant away in one place, instead of dragging potentially interesting threads off topic.
(Incidentally and off topic, the "prayer from Rob" post on your great debate thread was thoroughly enjoyable, and very much to the point).

Being representative of YEC as an admin and being your insolent remark was boarding closely to violation of the guidelines, I had to restrain myself from utilizing my admin mode here, but I decided your false and demeaning comment could slide this time and I'll just protest as member Buzsaw instead.
Which of the guidelines did you have in mind? If it's the "don't make bare assertions" one, it doesn't really apply, because EvC members see the evidence which backs up my points all the time, so there's no need to give examples.
I stand by my comments. There's truth in them, so there's no insolence.
Imo, you should climb down off your haughty high horse and acknowledge that in some areas we YECs have brought substance and yes, perhaps even to the point of debunking soundly some of the stuff some of you and yours do on this board.
IMO, that does break the "bare assertions" guideline. I think you should back it up by starting a thread on which you could give examples of YEC posts which bring substance to the debate. I could do the same for evolutionists, if you want, but that would be so easy as to be pointless, because real scientific information comes into the framework all the time.
As for debunking stuff, feel free to make a list of what's been debunked on your new "YEC substance" thread. I'd be genuinely interested to know.
