Welcome aboard, Kent.
I was in Uppsala for three months in late 1993, and I loved it. Fabulous place for a bicycle; I used to ride to Uni though a pine forest park on little dirt bike tracks that wound through the trees, and everything covered in snow.
Hop in any time. The poor old Americans need all the help they can get. (Though come to think of it, Ken Ham is Australian, and Answers in Genesis started out here as well. Oops.)

My interest in the subject (Evolution Vs. Creation) stemmed from a university course I was taking, called "Good & Bad Science" during which the topic of Creationism was brought up.
Here is a suggestion for your first thread; I'd love to hear more about the course in Good & Bad Science! And let's have it as a new thread in one of the main forums -- like Education. The new thread system is pretty straightforward. Your first post actually goes to the "Proposed New Topics" forum, where it is reviewed for good writing style and formatting (we could use you as an example, if this post is any indication!) and is finally sent to the main forum by a moderator.
Let's hear something about the other areas of bad science considered in your course; not just creationism!
Don't feel pressured... any time in the next couple of days will do...
Cheers -- Sylas

I would be delighted to create a topic pertaining to the course.
I think it would help though, if I knew what kind of discussion you're hoping to get out of this? If you're simply curious about what the course is about, then I'd think making a quick summary, consisting of a few lines for every topic the course brought up, would suffice... right? (there was one topic for each lecture, with a total of 16 lectures)
I'm curious about what the course was about, and how students felt about it, what topics were covered, how it was taught, and so on. A topic could go off in a number of useful directions, depending on the input from others. Give a quick introduction and let's see where it goes...
