Yeah, I like it more than chess, too. I had an uncle who loved chess and he taught me to play as a kid, but I always liked card games a lot more. I've played spades and hearts since I was a teen, so the mechanics of bridge weren't too difficult to learn. But the auction phase of the game really takes
a lot of time to understand, let alone master. I'm still not very good, but I have improved somewhat at no-trump bidding.
Even as hard as it is, though, bridge is more fun to play than any other card or board game I know of. I love it!
