Gee, I thought Barack Obama was a white guy born out of the most corrupt political system in America.
The Democrat Party in Chicago. Not much to celebrate here. I'm impressed, the same country with a majority who don't accept the TOE, voted for an empty suit. I'm looking foward to the Republican landside in 2 years.

I'm looking foward to the Republican landside in 2 years. quote: The following: 1994 United States House of Representatives elections - Wikipedia
The U.S. House election, 1994 was an election for the United States House of Representatives on November 8, 1994, in the middle of President Bill Clinton's first term. As a result of a 54-seat swing in membership from Democrats to Republicans, the Republican Party gained a majority of seats in the House for the first time since 1954
The U.S. Senate election, 1994 was an election held on November 8, in which the Republican Party was able to take control of the Senate from the Democrats by mobilizing voters discontented with congressional incumbents, the early presidency of Bill Clinton, and Hillary Rodham Clinton's unsuccessful health care plan. The Republicans captured eight seats from the Democrats, including the seats of sitting Sens. Harris Wofford (D-PA) and Jim Sasser (D-TN), as well as six open seats in Arizona, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. Notably, since Sasser's defeat coincided with the special election to replace Al Gore (who had left the Senate to become Vice President), Tennessee's Senate delegation switched from entirely Democratic to entirely Republican in a single election.

I'm impressed, the same country with a majority who don't accept the TOE, voted for an empty suit. Chiroptra writes: Yeah, unlike the country who voted for Bush in the last couple of elections, whose majority did accept the TOE. Do you even try to make sense any more? No offense taken. I understand you only have a bat brain. Please provide for me the quote where I said the intelligence of the American electorate has changed since I started following American Politics in 1960. Did I say they were smarter in voting for GWB than the empty suit Obamanation? Show me were I said that! Show me where I said the people who accept the TOE has changed! You may question my sense, but I sure as hell don't question the fact you can't see reality. Edited by petrophysics1, : No reason given. Subbie,
I'm interested in your criteria for deciding if someone is black or white. Reason I'm asking is your OP is very much based on BO being black. How did you determine that? My position is that BO is white for the following reasons. It is more accurate to trace linage through the female. I believe this is done with a number of types of DNA testing to see where your distant relatives where. It follows the female line not the male. I'm not a biologist so correct me if I'm wrong here. Some cultures also follow the female line, although many are very very Patriachal. You're not one of those are you? I actually am not concerned with someones genetics as with their upbringing. On both these counts, his mom being white, and him being raised by white people in a white culture, makes him white. Explain to me why I'm wrong. P.S. If I'm correct it means your OP is political bullshit.

If I were a liberal socialist, and my man for president was elected, I might talk to my opposition by pointing out things we have in common.
Perhaps suggest there is some common ground, where we can agree on some things, and work out how we can both live with it. There are some things we will probably never agree on, but government works on I will give you that if you will give me this. Nothing is perfect or absolute. So my question here is why did Subbie made a VERY BIG THING of Obama's race. Why exactly did he do that? He claims that America is racist. Everyone in the Republican Party would have supported and voted for Colin Powell if he ran in 1996. The polls showed it, he would have TRASHED Clinton. He wouldn't run, what were we to do. We got left with Bob Dole, a nice guy, but nothing compared to Colin Powell. I DID NOT BRING RACE UP ON THIS THREAD! It is in Subbie's OP Edited by petrophysics1, : typo

Actually Subbie I can look at it this way.
You have no more reason for calling Barack Obama black, than I do for calling him white (actually I think my reasons are better). I have to ask myself why you CHOSE to call him black instead of what he actually is. Why exactly did you in the OP call him black, and the left in the election do that, when he is 1/2 black and 1/2 white???? Do you, Subbie, think that if a person has a single drop of black blood they are a nigger??? It sure looks like it to me!

That's BS.
I don't post much, but I do read thousands of posts here. You can judge me by my 95 posts, and I'll judge you by your 2100. I have seen you again and again refer to being in Sweden or being Swedish, or saying what people in Sweden do. I don't know many people who are Americans who CONSTANTLY do that. Now I would still call you an American and leave it at that. What do you think I should do if you claimed special rights for being a Swedish American? Suppose you complain about people making fun of the way Swedish people speak english. Do I owe you something? Do I owe you a free pass on social, political, or scientific issues because you're Swedish and speak funny? I don't give people a free pass at all ever, doesn't matter who they are. Do I Think a free pass was given here? Yes, this is the least qualified person to become president in American history. So you tell me why that was? Edited by petrophysics1, : No reason given.

The answer is obvious. He, like Buz, thinks President Obama is the worst thing that ever happened to this country. No, the worst thing that happened to this country was Jimmy Carter being elected. God, and I voted for him! The Republic will endure, makes a small difference who is at the helm.

Brilliant! You're a genius. I'm a racist, the only reason I think President Obama is black is because the purity of White blood has been defiled by Black blood, and I'm proud of our country for electing our first Black President. Cognitive dissonance much? Barack Obama is 1/2 black and 1/2 white. I still have not seen a rational reason from you for WHY he's black. Why would people claim a person was BLACK when in fact the person is in fact 1/2 black and 1/2 white. Since you are doing this. Please tell me why you are doing it.
