I propose this as a topic. Some on the Bible Study have expressed frustration with my Christian Theology as reading too much into Genesis and other Old Testament books.
In this thread I am going to attempt to leave references to the New Testament out of the discussion.
Okay then. Just looking at the Old Testament where would you locate the most climactic moments moments in the Hebrew Bible? I will have to resort to English translations.
When I say "climax" I mean at what point if any, or points are things with God and people the most normal or in harmony or right?
Anyone have some thoughts? Here are some suggestions:
1.) The creation of man
2.) The giving of the law
3.) The conquest of the land of Canaan
3.) The return from captivity in Babylon
4.) The prophetic visions of the future of Israel or the world
5.) The establishing of the first Jewish king
6.) The establishing of David as king or Solomon
7.) The Exodus from Egypt
(I will try to leave the New Testament verses out of the discussion in this thread).
