Talking about the strengths and weaknesses of the evolutionary model is too broad of a topic?
I see other topics titled "Creationists: why is evolution bad science? " And "Problems with Evolution-submit your questions?
I don't see how this is much different than that-I simply want to start with a clean slate, and enable people to talk not only the negative aspects of the theory, but also the positive one that may be more convincing as well-so that an objective observer can read some ideas and draw his own conclusions about which arguments have more merit. Why is Darwinian evolution a good theory and why do others feel it is an adequate theory.
Isn't this a perfect basis to start a discussion on an evolution vs. creationism website? People can say, "Well the theory is strong because it has this evidence and that evidence, and others can counter by citing areas where they feel the theory lacks evidence, and is simply speculation."
I don't think there should be any reason to fear a frank discussion which goes to right to the whole heart of the matter.
