I think there is something to eating to your blood type, that it all relates in someway to the enzyme systems in the blood, allergies, and that it is a general catergorization, kind of like those people that have celiac sprue and stay away from wheat products (a friend of mine has celiac sprue and interestingly she is O+ and this blood type diet tells her to stay away from wheat), though wonder about those people who told to eat meat, cause the problems with the human body to excrete excess iron out of the bio loop, when its believed to be one of the root causes of heart disease, and iron choking up some of the organs a bit as one ages, cause no place for it to exit the bio loop, in men, and ladies after they reach the age of menopause, etc...
P.S. I kind of like the Daniel diet, in the book of Daniel (pulse and water), but its all of what works for you, cause no two people are necessarily the same, cause of things like the blood types, allergies, enzymes(aging affecting enzymes levels)(heavy metal accumulative factors affecting enzymes digestive processes), heart disease, all factor into whats right for you, but the Daniel diet was quite simple, beans and water. Beans are pulse and are full of natural bio absorbable proteins, and pure mineral water blends quite interestingly with all the amino acids, it is interesting its not milk and pulse, or wine and pulse or meat and pulse and water, but pulse and water, just thought this is a quite interesting diet, but it means giving up those steaks, pancakes, etc...Its like something to try(to see how your body reacts), cause the Daniel diet is not just vegetables and water its pulse and water, big difference, cause its loaded with all those bioabsorbable ammino acids protein molecules that are loaded with synergistic nutrition, and with mineral water, it seems to be quite synergistic, etc... I'm not no doctor, I like steak too, but just from what I've heard on some of those talk shows talking about nutrition, so you might want to research it a bit, like multi-vitamen supplements, Cod liver oil supplementation, too, though think I'd use caution with high powered supplementation. The problem with oversupplementation is that the blood can get sticky(leading to strokes) so moderation is better than overchoking the blood with too many good supplements(the blood can only handle so much)(life is in the blood. etc...), which is what I thought interesting about the pulse and water, not pulse and milk, pulse and wine, just pulse and water, with the Daniel diet, it might well be better than the Atkins diet for some people, if done in moderation, cause pulse is a complex carb, but that might be a good thing to a borderline diabetic, if you want to have some sweetness in the water, you could use a product at the health stores called liquid stevia extract where only a few drops (4 to 5 drops) will sweeten the water, and with lemon concentrate (then shake), or any other concentrate, and some teas you can have a low carb drink that should be synergistic with the bean (pulse), and not be detrimental to borderline diabetics, etc...For the green peas, if its cooked it destroys the enzymes that aids digestion), so some vegetables are better eaten fresh, but some cooked for the bio-absorbable ammino acids, etc...
kjv Dan 1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
