i don't want this to be long, so that's why I want it here.
I'm currently debating a creationists who denies evolution becasue her refuses to accept that we have observed speciation. If you all would be so kind as to give a list of examples and perhaps websites or other refernece material I would be quite grateful

try talkorigins
Try this website for starters:
Observed Instances of Speciation
Talkorigins is usually a good starting point for things that come up in the creationist vs evolution debate.

Start here...
I started a thread here more than a year ago with just such an objective. A lot more examples have appeared in other threads since, but I think you will find quite a few here to start with.
There was also a nice example of sunflower speciation on an island mentioned here .
Kuresu, this should really be a PNT in the 'biological evolution' forum - its not 'coffee house' material. That way, you would be quickly directed to existing info on the topic.

Re: try talkorigins
that faq (section 5 of it) is really quite good. thank you. THe only way he can deny speciation now is to irrationally wipe away the evidence for it.

Not a "Coffee House" type topic - Moving to "Links and Information"
So far, it is a valid "Links and Information" type topic. But remember, the "L&I" forum topics are for links and links anotation only, and not a place to debate the content of the links. If you wish to debate content, go to an appropriate Biological Evolution topic, or propose a new topic via the Proposed New Topics forum.
By the way, the promoted version of the topic EZscience cited in the first sentence of message 3 is Macroevolution: Its all around us.... It is now closed at 306 messages (all topics are closed when they hit +/- 300 messages.
