Is it just me not following the news closely enough, or is Kamala Harris one of the more invisible vice presidents we've had in recent memory?

I think it is partly a result of the former pres. still soaking up the news. I think she is busy every day and I suspect they like to try and actually accomplish things without it always being a photo or video moment/event.

It seems like we have become so used to expecting, every single day, the next extreme, staged, fake news of outrageous behavior from the Turd, that it feels like a vacuum when we return to a more normal administration where actual work gets done, instead of the parody of a president always performing for his audience.

I see Kamala on the news I watch almost every day, and if I watched Fox, I bet they twist everything she does, every day, into something that outrages their idiot audience.

The sad thing is the republicans will do whatever they can to make the economy worse just in time for the elections.

Yeah, but they really are so incompetent at economics that we shouldn't worry about that. The real danger from them is fucking up government and any chance of it serving the public and protecting civilization.
