RobinRohan has died

I've been talking to my sis Mike. Its true I'm afraid.

I should be surprised that I feel as sad as I do. I can't say I miss him, nor that I knew him particularily well. Yet sad enough to cry because I am sad. And I just wonder where he is now.

I agree. Robin was such a man as to plead with Lazarus. Oh bugger...

I recall Robin saying that he wouldn't consider posting what he revealed here under his real name - that these views were ones which he held as private in real world. I couldn't begin to find the post though.

If so, then introducing all who he knows to here might be breaking into that privacy. If they came here they would find out things about him that he seemed not willing for them to know when he was alive.

I'd say let it lie. Let his views go to the grave with him except for those he chose to share them with.

Thanks for embracing us in your grief DaughterofRohan. We share the shock and the sadness. And in this little family his place at the table notable for his absence. We all have our favorites here and my eyes still haven't gotten used to his name not being amongst them.

Its hard to believe

He was a bit unique wasn't he? There are plenty of combatants here: on this side or that. Plenty who can put down, ridicule, mock, stand righteously aghast at: you and me included.

But few so even handed, few so rare to flare up in anger.

Another sad Robin-moment

He was a teacher - so I suppose he knew how to deal with such as EvC

There is no obligation to get this particular thread go red nor hit 300 posts. Let it be what it has become - a place for people to express whatever it is they want to express about Robins dying.

It turns out too that it has become a place for his family members to gain entry into this aspect of Robins life should they chose to do so
