If the Final False Prophet spoken of in Revelation 13 is indeed Pope Francis
And if pigs had wings...
You aren't going to present an argument one way or the other? I'm supposed to go to your web site? Who promoted this mess...

Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846)
I have never met a man so ignorant that I couldn't learn something from him. Galileo Galilei

Re: Topic?
Our topic is about Pope Francis. What do you think of the new Pope?
Actually, the topic is about whether there is a Biblical basis for the proposition that the pope is the anti-Christ or something similar. Except that there doesn't seem to be any need to actually back that proposition up in this thread.
I suppose I should learn to be more tolerant of intolerance.
Does he seem in any way insincere or has he any ulterior motives that you can discern?
Like perhaps signaling the end times?

The question was rhetorical? Since he is new, why didn't you encourage him to post a viewpoint in the OP?

Re: only one body of Christ
a substitute Christ ??
No, the pope is not considered a substitute for Christ. That is the doctrine of fundy Catholic haters.
We all know full well what verses the Catholic Church interprets and perhaps misinterprets as providing for the office of pope. At most the pope serves the office given to Peter and not the one held by Christ.
I had some faint hope that there something more than the typical fundy screed was behind the OP which is why I pressed for you to get on with your discussion.
