If the Final False Prophet spoken of in Revelation 13 is indeed Pope Francis .. then I'm expecting all of the secular humanistic left / atheistic / false-religious-system / anti-christ / homosexual / and all the Biblical Harlot folk spoken about in Revelation 17 to glob-on to / applaud / accept and follow this guy .. He will literally rally them all together ...... My real point of observation will be IF & WHEN Pope Francis gets on the same page with and starts pointing to and singing the praises of a particular (RISING STAR) powerful political figure ........ time will tell Edited by AdminPhat, : removed spam

sounds as if you are a religious guy... Do you personally believe that the Pope is the false prophet? Tell us a bit about your spiritual/religious beliefs.

As a Christian, I have heard prophetic musings concerning who the antichrist is, who the false prophet is, etc etc. Some Christians disagree on last days theology anyway. I usually judge a man by his character, and this Pope seems to be quite humble towards the meek of the earth. I always liked John Paul II but I never related to the German guy... What are your spiritual beliefs? Do you come from a fundamentalist/charismatic background?

I believe we need to see the pope through the grid of God's word ... not the other way around . . . but I would start with the premise that there is no such thing as a Biblical Pope (substitute for Christ) nor the priesthood in general

You will find that this forum has many educated critical thinkers here and that they will argue quite persuasively against simply "believing scripture." Many of them have read the Bible, however...and some compelling arguments and discussions often arise here. Let me ask you...do you believe that the world will end soon? Why or why not? Do you believe that people who don't accept Jesus Christ will end up in Hell? Why or why not?
