Even the US Debt is, I think, a global concern and I would like to see it negotiated away based on some sort of global plan.
So you want to make sure that it is
them left holding the bag instead of
us, even though we're the ones who made it so gosh dern heavy.
The shift away from consumerism is idealistic yet obviously not seen as practical by the powers that be.
It's not idealistic.
You are the one who linked me to that video which made the point that for most of human history consumerism was
not the standard.
Thus, to see any change, the powers that be need to surrender some of the power to the rest of us.
We are more in number. We always have more power. We always have. We always will.
