Ok let's make this easy-if that's possible.
This thread is the place to discuss any of the strengths and weaknesses of the modern Darwinian evolutionary theory. I propose that it go under Biological evolution, but I am willing to go to coffee house if that would make it easier to have a free range discussion that would allow scientific and logical ideas be to discussed without too many interruptions.

Way too broad of a topic theme
Maybe I would change my opinion of the subtitle, if you would list your personal opinion of a couple of strengths and a couple of weaknesses. Then we have a prayer of a little focus in this topic.

Re: Way too broad of a topic theme
Talking about the strengths and weaknesses of the evolutionary model is too broad of a topic?
I see other topics titled "Creationists: why is evolution bad science? " And "Problems with Evolution-submit your questions?
I don't see how this is much different than that-I simply want to start with a clean slate, and enable people to talk not only the negative aspects of the theory, but also the positive one that may be more convincing as well-so that an objective observer can read some ideas and draw his own conclusions about which arguments have more merit. Why is Darwinian evolution a good theory and why do others feel it is an adequate theory.
Isn't this a perfect basis to start a discussion on an evolution vs. creationism website? People can say, "Well the theory is strong because it has this evidence and that evidence, and others can counter by citing areas where they feel the theory lacks evidence, and is simply speculation."
I don't think there should be any reason to fear a frank discussion which goes to right to the whole heart of the matter.

Re: Way too broad of a topic theme
Admin, is this typically how requests for new topics go? A request is made, you reply that you don't like it for whatever reason, the OP asked for clarification, and then that is the end of the discussion with no further replies?
I asked this because perhaps this IS the way discussions for proposed new topics go, and I just haven't noticed it, I am not sure. I just know I personally have never seen a topic refused in this way, but maybe I have missed something?

From the Forum Guidelines:
  1. When introducing a new topic, please keep the message narrowly focused. Do not include more than a few points.
Your current proposal is a license to discuss anything on any topic of creation/evolution. We never promote such proposals.

Re: Way too broad of a topic theme
Admin, once again their appears to be duplicity here, and you once again refuse to directly answer my question.
I asked a specific question-why did you promote Problems with Evolution-submit your questions-if you are claiming that you NEVER promote such proposals?

Re: Way too broad of a topic theme
Besides which, I did not endorse a license to discuss anything about Creationism and Evolution-I specifically narrowed my topic to only discussions about Darwinian Evolution.
