I was listening to NPR this morning on my long trip home from work and they had a bit on about how the media blows shit out of proportion. They then brought on a gentleman who was touting this site, Futurity.org, that has all science and health news directly from the Universities themselves whom are doing the studies. He went on to mention how they aren't after the "glitzy" headlines and that the site is more for people who are really interested in all things science and health related and get their "glitzy" headlines elsewhere.
Not sure this quite fits in the "Evo vs. Creo" mantra here, but the real science buffs should like it.

Same here. As well as Daily Galaxy. However, Daily Galaxy seems to have a few too many grammatical errors for my liking.
