Neither of these come up to the level of expertize or depth of knowledge on various topics that I find here at EvC.
I agree, not even close.
"The Internet is a big place"
This was a comment made by Admin and I strongly disagree. The context was debate or discussion boards. The Internet is not a big place for quality discussion boards. As far as I am aware, there are really only two: EvC Forum and the Talk Origins Usenet. I think the latter is the best since a great number of evolutionists post and read the Group on a regular basis. It is a very high traffic Group.
Rankings (as I see it).
1. Talk Origins Usenet (no Moderation, but very few trolls).
2. EvC Forum
That is it, there are no others, unless I am out of touch.
Worst Places (as I see it).
1. Christian Forums: its look is bubblegum, so is its system of symbols to indicate positions and a handful of predetermined avatars that one can select from, no other avatars are allowed. A person cannot post a link outside of the Forum until a certain number of posts have been made. A person cannot challenge another person's Christianity. The Moderators are all evolutionists and any Creationist that has a brain is not welcome. It is essentially run by Atheists who wear crosses, ex-EvC regular, Loudmouth, is a regular. The clientele is a true group think of mentally challenged evolutionists who make the forum the most stale and worthless place one could possibly imagine.
2. TheologyWeb: angry Atheists (who also wear crosses) keep all intelligent persons out in this bastion best comparable to North Korea. Several years ago it used to be a good place. But idiotic power mad evolutionist Moderators have ruined the experience. The evolution-creation forum is now a ghost town.
3. Internet Infidels or IIDB: its a great place if you want to converse with other Atheists. If you are not an Atheist and if you display any type of smarts you will be banned. They have no toleration for any evidence that does not support Atheism.
There are at least 10 to 15 small boards that are very low traffic and void of any intellectuality worth mentioning. I had joined Jar's new board. Two days later, having not even made one post, Jar banned me. He was, of course, influenced by Quetzal. Objective persons know they are angry Atheists who cannot refute anything that I say. The experts like Castro, Tse-Tung and Stalin agree (all Atheists): censorship works.

Really? Did he say why?
"Not a good place for me" = outrage.
I really had no plans on posting there with any frequency. First of all, Jar's bias in labelling anything that he rejects as "mythos" tells objective persons that he is an intolerant crusading Atheist.
And I have defended Jar, so there is no bias:
http://EvC Forum: Changes at EvC Forum -->EvC Forum: Changes at EvC Forum
EvC Forum, to their credit, describes and treats the Biblical Forums with respect and objectivity.
The Internet as a whole isn't censored, and it's very important that it isn't, but individual website owners with discussion forums have the right to ban anyone they want to.
Tell me something that I do not already know. I have supported Admin:
http://EvC Forum: Changes at EvC Forum -->EvC Forum: Changes at EvC Forum
http://EvC Forum: Scientists are Biased Against the Findings of Creationists -->EvC Forum: Scientists are Biased Against the Findings of Creationists
Percy has the right here, but when he bans someone, he knows very well that he is not censoring their opinions from being expressed on the Internet at all.
When a evolutionist or a creationist bans the other, it is censorship. But the banishment, almost always, is justified by something that is not true. There are exceptions, for example: I think Randman has now been banned (as opposed to suspension). I think he was banned for violating a certain rule repeatedly. Recently, evolutionists have been banned for violating rules repeatedly. In this context there is no censorship, which is very rare.
BUT, Randman should not be banned indefinetly. It should be a suspension because he is a creationist and Percy a evolutionist. This eliminates the appearance that he is being censored when in fact someone could say it was because of anger and bias.
It is a big place.
Not for quality high traffic creation-evolution debate.
Look at yourself. You have 3266 posts on this website as I'm writing, and anyone in the world who can understand English is free to read your opinions. That's probably about three books' worth of opinions. And it's likely you've posted thousands more elsewhere. So why this whining about censorship?
Also, there's nothing to stop you from having your own website with a discussion forum. You can do exactly what Percy and Jar have done, and you would have the right to shape it to be the kind of place that hosts the kind of discussions you're interested in.
A defense of Jar's censorship, that is, the censorship of a creationist by a evolutionist.
You could ban Jar if he turned up, and I'm sure you'd ban me
I wouldn't ban anyone except egregious trolls and off-topic spammers.
Anytime a creationist bans a evolutionist everyone knows it is due to the inability to refute (and vice-versa).
I agree with you that this is one of the best boards dealing with EvC and related issues.
Yeah, its number two in my opinion. But the Talk Origins Usenet is better. The population here does not want to talk about the contradictions of TEism or anything to do with Materialism. When I do bring these things up I can tell that no one here has an answer and that they are mad at me for bringing it up.
At Talk Origins there are no moderators. I shove these uncomfortable things in their face and they pride themselves with being able to answer and explain every creationist argument and to NOT run away. It would do EvC Forum good to see how the Talk Origin evolutionists answer me concerning these things.
Since there are are only two good places on the Net with high traffic, when anyone is banned it is censorship except for the exceptions mentioned.

I regard you as a brother in Christ.
Likewise. If we do not get the pleasure of actually meeting one another in this life, I am sure we will meet one another in heaven in the presence of the Designer.
