As much as it pains me, I'm giving a POTM nomination to one of the "shift key impaired".
Author: arachnophiliaForum: Miscellaneous Topics in Creation/Evolution Topic: IFOlogy: Solving the UFO-Alien mystery message number: 49 The last of a series of messages subtitled "Bye" or "Re: Bye". I haven't followed the topic close enough to determine if the topic title makes any sense. I think the cited message is a good summing up of our encounters with Origen. The concluding portion of the message:
arach writes: Origen writes: This forum was a great disappointment. only because we demanded that you behave and participate constructively in debate. something you can't seem to do. we also have some members here who are sticklers for things like "logic" and "defending your arguments with evidence" and stuff like that. if it's a disappointment, it's because we've actually challenged you. what would not be a disappoint, pray tell? should we eat up your every word, herald you as a great prophet? bow down before you? i'm sorry we can't placate your ego. we're interested in intellectual discussion here, and you do not appear to be. "Bolding" is my addition. Something I more or less thought myself, although I wasn't up to posting such (as Adminnemooseus). I submit this topic as being a study of one of 's unique personalities. how come everytime i post something chewing somebody out for being utterly ridiculous -- to the point where i am worried about incurring the wrath of the admins for actually ridiculing another member and being wildly off-topic -- i get nominated for a potm?
thanks, i guess.

Forum: Is it Science? Thread: The scientific method is based on a logical fallacy Message number: 10 For an excellent analysis of the difference between deductive and inductive logic, with particular attention to its application to the creationism/evolution debate. I hope others don't hold it against him that it was in response to my somewhat tongue-in-cheek OP. Quetzal in a very well reasoned argument demonstrates the difference between perceptions and reality. I am not against any nominations. Nominate away. I am not here to disqualify anyones amiration for another. I would like to understand how one persons perception of reality is more valid than anothers. The reality of design or messy is souly in the eye of the beholder. It is opinion from perspective. It is no different than the glass half full/empty question. It says nothing about what is, It says much about the individual. No one is an expert on what "is".
