As I said, all the atheists I know don't give a rats ass about what the pope says or thinks. I also haven't seen a front page headline about an atheist complaining about anything.
The case had been brought by an atheist who did not want his third-grade daughter to have to listen to the phrase "under God" in the oath.
I am in the UK.
American atheists have the disadvantage of being American, which means there's a good chance they are a few cans short of a 6 pack anyway.
Brian.

At any rate, excuse me all over the place for being an American Atheist.
Okay, you are excused.
Just be thankful you aren't an American Christian!
In contrast, I guess everyone now understands what scotch atheists complain about.
What is a whisky atheist?
Brian.

I thought that was robin rohan's domain.
Oh it is.
The difference is, I make a joke out of it.
Now if you were to use 'scotch' while chatting to Scots Muslim, would they be as easy going as I am?
It is a common mistake, no big deal at all.
Brian.
