Poll; theist, atheist or agnostic

One could consistently believe

that Jesus was a great moral teacher;

that the God described by evangelical Christians does not exist;

that is is unknowable where there is a God

making one an agnostic Christian atheist. Hmm, there might even be several of those on this board.

This would be rather stretching the meaning of the term "Christian."

How much does it pay and are there benefits? Sidelined lays prostrate on broken glass groveling like the frightened atheist he is.

It has already been stretched far and wide. I don't think any further stretching would be needed.

Then you wouldn't be in a class by yourself. In any case, nobody can follow Ringo.If this is just another name for the "I like to keep people guessing" department, then I'm already there.

Theist and can't understand why everyone isn't. It's so obvious.

That is probably the correct way to do it. On the other hand, speaking for just myself, I've made it quite clear that I am an atheist (I've said it loud, and I've said it proud), so if someone one were to indicate my opinions for me I would not have been put out by it -- just as long as I have the opportunity to correct any mistakes.

That's my take on it to. But, to be absolutely fair, even if someone has flat out told me that they are an atheist or a theist, I won't place their name on the list until they actively do it on the poll. Not that any of this really matters. It was just kind of an interseting question that was perhaps looming in some people's minds. This is strictly for morbid curiosity.So, Chiro, shall I place you on the list?
