All joking aside, there was a disagreement between Purple Youko and I as to whether or not there were more atheists than theists on EvC. I think there are more atheists and she thinks there are more theists. I guess only time will tell, aye?

That is probably the correct way to do it. On the other hand, speaking for just myself, I've made it quite clear that I am an atheist (I've said it loud, and I've said it proud), so if someone one were to indicate my opinions for me I would not have been put out by it -- just as long as I have the opportunity to correct any mistakes. That's my take on it to. But, to be absolutely fair, even if someone has flat out told me that they are an atheist or a theist, I won't place their name on the list until they actively do it on the poll. Not that any of this really matters. It was just kind of an interseting question that was perhaps looming in some people's minds. This is strictly for morbid curiosity. So, Chiro, shall I place you on the list?

You can count me as a theist. I don't propose to speak for Jar but he has made his position pretty obvious as a theist also. That's what I thought being that Jar told me that he was not only a Christian, but a Conservative Republican Christian. Rapture Ready: Message 52 jar said:

I don't feel like I'm in limbo. I don't feel like I'm searching for anything, because nothing is missing from my life. I don't feel any need at all to decide that gods exist or not. Perhaps Agnostics have a much greater tolerance for uncertainy and ambiguity than everyone else. It doesn't bother me in the least that I don't know if the supernatural exists or not. I have an appreciation for agnostics for many of the reasons you listed.

At the 300th post, as usual. Do you think it will last that long? Looking at the "Members List," I see hundreds of names of people who started a membership. Most of those names seem to be people who once participated at great length at one time, and perhaps just got sick and tired of arguing over the same old issues, and while others post like 10 times and are never to be seen or heard from again. You know, that just got me thinking. Is there anyone on EvC (or used to be, I should say) that you know they have passed away? Anyone ever think about that? How would we know if someone died. To us it would like they just stopped posting, but it could be that some of those members died and we just don't know about. So, anyone know of members that have passed away?
