It is good from home too.
Thanks to whoever fixed the problem.

The recent performance issues some have encountered gives me a great idea for enforcing the forum guidelines. Violators will have a delay introduced before pages are served. Misdemeanors: 1 second; Grand Theft: 5 seconds; Murder One: 30 seconds. ROFL I'm wondering who it was that accused me of mass murder. I was seeing page load times of 4 minutes and longer.

If you can send me one of the bounces (either my registered email address, or the Admin one), I'll take a look. I don't know if that will help. I am reputed to be something of an email guru.
If you send a message, make sure full headers are included.

The server time appears to be one hour off.
Probably the change from daylight savings time to standard time was never saved to the CMOS clock, so after a reboot it reverted to daylight savings time.

Does it need fixing?
It is in the "practice makes perfect" forum, which seems a good place to make these mistakes. Maybe randman can just change the first article owner back to AdminRandman, so that the moose will be happy.

I'm not sure that is a forum bug.
Both links in the referenced article worked fine for me. Maybe it's a broken browser problem.

Maybe not really a bug
The picture of the month on the main site page is the same picture as last month. Did somebody forget to change it?

Both of those searches work for me.
I seem to recall that my first attempt to search for "Bill Birkeland" failed. That was several days ago. But a few minutes later it worked. However, I have sometimes had failures in lookups.

I thought you were referring to a search in the membership list. Apologioes for the misunderstanding

If you are disconnected due to some software error or network error, the chat window just changes to a login screen. 1) I am getting booted quite frequently. Only admins have the power to do this, and our admins would never do such a thing. Obviously some bug is afoot! If you are booted, then a message appears on the screen saying that you were "kicked".

There are two messages numbered 191 in The Case Against the Existence of God.
Hmm, I wonder which of them will be listed in this link: Message 191

This is fun. I post to a thread, and that thread disappears from the face of the earth.
Let's see if the same thing happens with this thread. Note: prior post was to the thread announcing the planned switch to dBoard 2.0. I can't give a link, since I cannot find that thread.

Interesting.
The thread appeared to disappear. But hard looking found it. I posted my previous message at around 05-14-2006 10:36 AM (CST). But my post shows up with a post date of 04-02-2003 02:36 AM. This time discrepancy probably also is responsible for some of the other problems (such as the blue lights not behaving properly). Hmm, looking at the top of the screen, I see: Current session began: 04-02-2003 02:08 AMPage Loaded: 05-14-2006 10:44 AM Current Time: 05-14-2006 10:47 AM Perhaps it has my time zone off by about 3 years
