If he has a loss of faith, I hope he is okay, and he can read this topic Here if he is not.

We hope (and see in his post) that he has not lost his faith at all. It is a stronger more sophisticated faith then the child-like faith he had before.
​
I think that umiak and help others by showing them the steps needed to be able to be both rational and faithful. It is, as others here have found, a hard path to follow.
