If you begin at the most simple level is there any other way to go than towards increasing complexity?

These critters lived longer as they were bigger and didn't stop growing.
That is a nonsense statement.
But that logic a Great Dane lives longer than a Yorkie. Want to check the life expectancy of them?
Come on Mike. First there is no supporting evidence that things lived longer during Biblical times than they do today. If you are going to drag in the ages of the Patriarchs then I will drag in the Gilgamesh Saga and show that the Biblical Patriarchs only lived about 1/10th. as long as those folk.
There is no evidence to support complex--->simple---complex and until some can be placed on the table it belongs in the realm of belief, not science.

Blowing smoke Mike. You should know better. Almost all of the reproduction we see is by simple cell division.
Fact is that many, many fossils are found - of bigger organisms - they just don't voice it because evolutionists are looking for evolutionistic evidence.
Nonsense,Mike. That's not even blowing smoke, it's simply a lie. If not, please supply the evidence that anyone hides bigger fossils and also, while you're at it, show how it has anything to do with the topic.

I strongly disagree that we were not planned, and that we "just happened"
You may well believe that but so far no one has been able to show any evidence that that is the case. In fact, all of the evidence that I've ever seen shows that there was not a plan.

Evolution doesn't suggest "no plan" - yet here are evolutionists telling me there isn't one. Which is it? You can't have both.
Evolution (not the Theory of Evolution but rather what actually happened) does not suggest "no plan", it proves there was no plan.

So evolution says there was no plan, unlike the biblical account, and therefore suggest God is wrong, and implies no God?
No, it does not say there is no GOD. Blowing smoke again Mike.
It says that there is no plan, that man is not the result of design.
There is nothing that says there is no GOD.
It does falsify the Genesis Creation account but that has nothing to do with the existence of GOD.

Re: attempted bacterial intelligent design ...
Damn. All made sense until I realized you had typed "ID" and not "IT". I have always belived that the IT manager that questioned my budget had the brains of a stunted bacterium.
