excuse me for this but I just cannot believe that anyone could be so cosistently proven wrong and come back to state exactly the same (wrong) things again and not be a troll.

On a side note: Anyone see c-span's coverage of the protests, hearing around a thousand people chant "fox news sucks" together. You got to see all the signs and people saying "thank God for c-span", and the nypd and firemen and that thing that some of them lit on fire. That's pretty cool I'd say.
But Bush Sr wasn't in his son's position... "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." Ephesians 5:14

quote: Bush Sr. actually had a legitimate reason to attack Iraq, whereas Bush Jr. did not. Bush Sr. thought about the international and long-term consequences of his actions in Iraq, whereas Bush Jr. did not. Bush Sr. was joined by dozens of other countries, many of them our traditional European allies, in the first Gulf War, whereas Bush Jr. was not for the second Gulf War.

I hate to be cynical*, but I doubt that Bush Sr.'s intentions were so noble. What Bush Sr. and company were hoping for was that Iraqi military leaders, with whom they could cut deals, would depose Hussein without the U.S. actually installing them. The Bush I administration wanted the typical pro-Western despot without the appearance of having been installed directly by the U.S.
Of course schraf's point still stands: BI figured what would happen if the U.S. was seen as installing an American puppet, while those who run BII couldn't figure this out. *This is not actually true. I like being a cynic.

Jar, If you read the link, it appears of 28 bills put forth by Kerry only one passed, not that he is not a follower in other bills sponsored, etc...
P.S. Kerry put emphasis on the war cause he has nothing to show for leadership in the Senate, other than recieving a salary for time not present, etc...

You made two statements in that post. In one you said that Kerry had no bills passed and in the very next line you said he had one bill passed. While both are wrong, you can't even keep your mistakes straight through one post. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

Jar, You never read the link, the title was the article bringing to question, then if you read the link went on to explain Kerrys leaderlessship, that out of all those Bills sponsored by Kerry, only one passed, etc...
P.S. Kerry never appologized to the Vietnam Vets, Read Mr. North's letter to Mr. Kerry, truly Mr. Kerry is the traitor, to us and ours, etc... http://www.townhall.com/.../ollienorth/printon20040827.shtml

Jar, Here's the article, if Kerry actually sponsored more Bills, that passed then it might be suggestive of Kerry having the ability to lead, unfortunately Kerry has not shown the ability to lead, were talking 20 years of following others leads, and not leading, in the Senate, etc...We need someone to make a difference, not someone that wants to follow others leads, etc...If Kerry can not lead his bills through the Senate, how can he lead America, etc...
Bush and KerryPresidential Campaign J. Domnguez, M.D. Page 1 - Page 2 Not Found Kerry as Senator... no Bills passed in 20 years??? As a Senator, Kerry has introduced 28 bills in the last 10 years, all of then defeated except one in 1998, A bill to designate a portion of the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Rivers as a component of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System... and that's all! John Kerry - Wikipedia Attention Required! | Cloudflare The Democratic Convention was much of it about Vietnam, no one ever mentioned the accomplishments of Senator Kerry as Senator... because there is almost nothing!... and I don't see much of Bush campaign about the un-accomplishments of Senator Kerry as Senator. Stop a bit talking about Vietnam, and say something about Senator Kerry as Senator for 20 years!. Much of the Presidential Campaign is focused on the days of Kerry in Vietnam and that's not right. Kerry is not a Presidential candidate because he was in Vietnam, but because he has been a Senator since 1994, almost 20 years!. Only 100 persons are Senators, and how many for 20 years?... In Vietnam there were thousands with many medals, and that's not a reason to become a Presidential candidate. Kerry was chief sponsor on matters like ocean research, protecting marine mammals from commercial fishing and providing grants to small businesses owned by women. In 20 years in the Senate, Senator Kerry sponsored 11 bills about health care, and not one of them passed... Mr. Kerry responded to this criticism of Dr. Dean saying that "sometimes your accomplishments are not in what you get done, but in what you stop other people from doing."Yes, Kerry has done very little in the Senate, and what he has done is mainly to stop other people from doing!... Kerry tried it most specially against Reagan, and he failed! as we see in the next part P.S. We're voting for a leader of men, not someone that has shown he has not the ability to lead men, etc... Because Kerry doesn't do what he says he will, you simply have an unstable candidate, doing your own thing doesn't make you a leader of men, to earn respect you need to do what you said you would do, and if elected you will say, but he said he wasn't going to tax the middle class, (but he will), but now that the Swift Boat Vets have come forward, declaring to one and all, that Kerry is a traitor, to us and ours, and its not just the Swift Boat Vets but all the Vietnamese prisoners of War that Kerry has never apologied too, etc... Oliver North in the other link to you, said Jane Fonda realized her error and has since made a repentant apology, for her part in respect to Vets captured by the enemy, their pain and suffering, etc...Kerry to my knowledge has never apologized to the Vets, etc...

On ABC tonight interview John McCain said that Kerry had all the qualities needed and would make a good president. He said the SBV ad was viscious and wrong.
That should be enough information for anyone on this matter. we are limited in our ability to understand by our ability to understand RebelAAmerican.Zen[Deist

What's the deal? Is it the classic Republican derision of education that leads you to not be able to tell the difference between one and zero?

Razd, Here's some food for you, what if Kerry lied to you, etc...
P.S. There is what Kerry says and then there is what Kerry does! The point if what Kerry does, does not agree with what he says, is he not lying, etc...
