O'Neil is a hired gun, no more, no less.
you need to look at your man a little closer before you make all those accusations.
I used to have a website showing that the neocons had planned to invade Iraq before 911 and were only waiting for an excuse
John O'Neil worked for Nixon and now works for the neocon money behind Bush. He has sold out for two reasons, money and taking Kerry's senate testimony personnally when it was about exposing facts not attacking vets. Inability to see that is his enduring cross, but that doesn't make it true. His "facts" don't add up. Yours don't either, but I have come to expect that from experience.
Now you are basing your choice of leader of america on his stated (but not acted on) position of gay marriage. I'm surprised it isn't because you like his (affected) cowboy boots.

Razd, Actually O'Neil makes a whole lot of sense it you look at Kerry through the lens of globalisms, etc...
P.S. You forget there were 250 signatures of Vets against Kerry, not exactly a vote of confidence for Kerry. I don't care if Kerry wants to say he is a hero, cause to me the issue is he an american, or a communists, etc...He one of those contradictions, one never knows what Kerry stands for, like is he an american hero, or a north vietnamese hero, the terrorist are rooting for Kerry, cause they stirred up a hornets nest in respect to GWB, and what about China, the Chinese newspaper supporting Kerry over GWB, like honoring Kerry for his contributions to their military strength, making me question if Kerry quest for success has compromised American soverienty, etc...
P.S. I heard the reason for Afganistan was so an oil pipeline would be built to China through Afganistan, not sure if this came to pass, but Kerry by filibustering the drilling of alaskan oil, is an important reason for the price of crude rising to near 50 dollars a barrel, and you want to still vote for the man, hopefully the price of crude will drop so to help Americans heating costs. Why is it always the democrats that are responsible for creating high demand and low supply (less oil refineries), all it hurts is the people, the economy, and is counter productive when by building more power plants would lower electricity costs.
Truly the democrats appear struck mad, and not fit for command, whats wrong with lowering electric costs, water costs, energy costs, etc... The answer appears its counter productive to have americans taking care of their needs, the democrats are actually depowering americans, appear to want to tell americans when its safe to cross the street, where to smoke, what's acceptable speech, how to raise you children, etc...The republicans want to empower you, the democrats goal is to depower, and you still want to vote for a democrat? Don't you think your vote would be better spent voting for Ralph, etc...
P.S. In city government I actually vote for the best candidate, if they are democrats and are willing to show up for my interests, they get my vote, the problems with Kerry is he has a problem showing up for duty, like in the intelligence committee, yet he has no problem accepting his salary, if he isn't willing to abide by federal law, how can I in good faith vote for the man, that says its ok to break the laws of the land, etc...Its like the mayor of an californian city breaking federal law in allowing gay marriage, and not being prosecuted, or Clinton lying before the Senate in respect to Monica, etc...

incredibility
only 250 out of how many thousands and thousands of door to door solicited vets? pretty skimpy results after weeks of beating around the bush eh? how many thousands support Kerry, or don't you look for those numbers. is the 250 because of the anti-war Kerry and nothing more? Coals of old hates burn the ones that hold them. it's not a matter of facts for them, and you seem to fit right in. where were you when nam was fought? just curious.
where would that pipeline be built from? Iraq?
You're right that the terrorists would love to have Bush back, he is one of their best recruiting tools yet, gives solid evidence of the evil ways of the west by invading sovereign nations to take over their oil production and kill muslims (feeds all their talking points), and who is incompetent at the same time so he doesn't get the job done leaving lots of loose ends to take advantage of. Meanwhile Kerry might actually do something about the problem and not the effect of the problem.
how has Bush lowered energy costs? last time I looked these were all significantly higher than before he was in office? once again facts at odds with your mythos. wasn't it Bush that said he would pressure mid-east oil to lower prices? what has he done? NADA. lies again instead of actions.
it seems every time you write something it's a caricature

whatever, I'm still intrigued by this U.N. thing. You still haven't answered my questions about the U.N. Here is a repeat of an earlier post I wrote, asking you some questions. The quotes are statements you made:
quote:
The U.N. Charter declares that all human rights are derived from the U.N.
Where does it say that?
-
quote:
Our Constitution and Declaration of Independence declare that all human rights are God-given and that no man or government can abridge them.
Where does the U.S. Constitution say that?

Whatever... you still haven't addressed my question. You just keep babbling on about globalism, when my question has nothing to do with globalism.
In post 267, you state that one reason Kerry is a traitor is because of his attacks on Donald Rumsfeld. You say that attacking a government official like this amounts to offering aid and comfort to the enemy.
So what I want to know, in very simple terms, is why your attacks on two government officials (a senator and a former President) do not amount to offering aid and comfort to the enemy, and are not therefore treason.
Why are you held up to different standards than Kerry?
As always, not answering directly will just lead me to believe you don't have a direct answer, and I will have to assume you consider yourself a traitor.

Re:
cause to me the issue is he an american
He was born in America. Therefore he is a naturalized US Citizen. At least according to the Constitution, I don't know what anti-American standards you're using.
the terrorist are rooting for Kerry
Then why did they officially endorse Bush?
Why is it always the democrats that are responsible for creating high demand and low supply
What are you basing this on? Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy to read a comparison of oil prices under Bush with oil prices under Clinton, if you have one.
the democrats are actually depowering americans, appear to want to tell americans when its safe to cross the street
Uh... at the crosswalk, when there's no cars coming. Last I checked, that's not a democratic platform. It's just common sense.
But you do know that jaywalking is already illegal, right?
what's acceptable speech
Point to one law that the democrats have passed that infringes on your legal right to say whatever you want.
Seriously. Just one. If you can find one, I'll shout it down right alongside you.
While you're looking, shall we talk about Bush overseeing the FCC crackdown on Howard Stern?
The republicans want to empower you
In what way, exactly?
Far as I've seen, the Republicans seem to want the final say on who I can have sex with, who I can marry, and what substances I can put in my own body.
How is this empowerment?
Its like the mayor of an californian city breaking federal law in allowing gay marriage, and not being prosecuted
In case you haven't noticed, the federal government right now is Republican. On a state level, the Governor of California is also a Republican. Perhaps you should be angry at the Republican party for not prosecuting him?
I'd also be curious to hear precisely what law he broke. I understand that he overstepped his authority, and as such the marriages were declared null and void, but if it was up to you, what federal law would you prosecute him under? (Specifically, which law, please. Not a general "he should be prosecuted.")

Re: incredibility
Razd, The muslim fanatics are not happy about our supporting Israel. They actually would rather that a jew named Kerry become president, who would bend to the United Nations will, because its George W Bush thats holding up the United Nations in respect to Israel, being allowed to defend itself from their muslim extremists, etc...
P.S. The Word actually supports Israel owns all the oil, the bible says from the Great River of Egypt to the Great river Euphrates belongs to Issacs seed, which is likely why the Muslims hate Christians, and Jews, because The Word (our Holy Bible) supports the oil all actually belongs to Israel, and that the muslims are the sqauters, and the more conflict in the middle east against Israel, the more the Christians belief that its glorifying God's Word, and not the Qurin, etc...
Its all begging the question if the Muslims religion has been taken over by Satan, cause of their hatred for Israel, their belief in jihad, cutting off nose, arms, gouging out eyes of their enemies as is being done in Sudan over the oil in Sudan, all the things Kerry says he is against, and it will be interesting if John Kerry's elected, etc...

Re: JOHN O'NEILL Interviewed by CBN
WOW... I leave this thread for two days and the whole thread doubles in size.
Thank you for your reply.
Combine this with this group's well-known agenda, previous smear record against McCain, and big-bucks Texas Republican backing, this group rots to high heaven.
well-known agenda??? Paul O'Neil voted for Gore in the last election. And I've read of others (can't remember their names) who typically vote democrat that are denying Kerry's statements.
Big bucks Republican backing? their ad cost a little more than 100,000 dollars and was originally run only in 3 states. The Kerry campaign botched this by giving it so much attention the whole nation is focused on it. $100,000 is nothing in the ad campaign business and even more so nothing in comparison with the free advertising Kerry's gotten from all the news media.
But his act of volunteering to the military and request to serve his tours in Vietnam, vs. a guy who deliberately wanted to skip the war by enrolling in a politician-friendly Air Guard, ...
So you have to try and compare BUSH's dubious record with KERRY's MORE dubious record and say Kerry's better because the one particular version of the story that has surfaced from events happening 30 years ago which YOU believe for subjective reasons makes Bush out to be a worm and Kerry to be a hero in order to show that Kerry is better than Bush.... (shaking head)
It should really be very simple. Kerry should say, I'm going to do this this and this by doing this this and this. Bush should say, that won't work; here's why; I'm going to do this this and this... etc...
"I do not have a single document," Odell said. "I have the fact that I wasn't wounded in that 5,000 meters of fire that he wrote about." is absolutely preposterous.
You said his statement is preposterous, and then said something to the effect that odell must be a piss-poor lawyer for not providing a story without evidence.
That IS ad hominem. You are attacking him without attacking his argument.
If he utilized this type of logic in a court, he would be laughed right out the door.
In a court, he would be one of a string of witnesses giving testimony, not the lawyer. You are implying he's so stupid as to not realize that his lone testimony with no evidence is not enough by itself.
Hmmm, must have heard a different speech than I did. I have an idea next time you hear a Kerry speech on TV - Switch the channel off of Faux News. That might cut down on the Conservative attack, I mean Conservative talking points during his speech a little better.
ACTUALLY, we've been off cable all summer, and all we get with the antenna is ABC NBC and CBS. I watched it on ABC... thus my comments about Peter Jennings...
Feel free to read them, if you really care to.
I already did... I realize you are implying I don't really care about policy, only attacking Kerry, which is not true. I care about policy most almost equally with character... Infact I think the two are tied together.
You really should listen a little better to what he is saying as opposed to the Conservative mouthpieces.
You're implying I can't judge him for myself... well, its pretty obvious what he's trying to do to anyone who isn't blindly in love with him.
If you think we can fight the war on terror by ourselves without the help of the UN and European nations, you are not only shortsighted but terribly misguided. The assistance of the European nations so far in fighting terrorism has been invaluable. But it certainly could be better.
OBVIOUSLY it would be awesome if we had all of europe on our side and as militantly against terrorism as we have been. If this were the case terrorism would soon disappear. HOWEVER, Europe has been reluctant and in many cases unwilling to put real effort into the fight. If they just aren't going to help, I say, why beg and plead and wait around for them to change their minds? Action needs to be taken immediately. AND we CERTAINLY don't need to hand the problem completely over to the UN... that would be a disaster.
...Sorry I don't have time to address the rest of your post. School has started again, and I won't have much time for this forum. This debate could be unending anyways.

Dan, Thought Arnold started to press the issue, not sure whats happening in regards to the Californian mayor, though Arnold did call the democrats girly men, etc... I agree with you though, that if he broke the law, he should be thrown in jail, because as a leader you should be held to a higher standard.
You miss the import of the reason for the price of crude rising, its called world demand, something that was foreseen by the bush presidency, his efforts to develop an energy policy was thwarted by Kerry filibustering the drilling of oil in our own country, which would of affected the buffering needed so demand didn't out pace supply, etc...
The democrats have a social agenda, like hate speech(preaching likely qualifies in their definition of hate speech), and how this conflicts with free speech(the christian right to freely express religious expression), there was a big push in the Clinton presidency, cause free speech conflicts with the globlists agenda, etc...
The bible says if you want to be filthy to let you be filthy still, but it also says to let the righteous be righteous still and let the holy be holy still, so what George did was protect the sanctity of marriage, and how can you fault this, cause its God that santifies a marriage, and he can not bless a filthy union, but says to let you be filthy still so those that want to live a Righteous life, or a Holy life will be allowed the same right you have to live a filthy life, etc... kjv rev 22:11

Re:

Then why did you comment on it?
Arnold did call the democrats girly men, etc...
Well thank sweet baby Jesus we have such men of action in government.
I agree with you though, that if he broke the law, he should be thrown in jail, because as a leader you should be held to a higher standard.
Yes, you're right. But the key word here is if. So I'll ask you again... if it was up to you, under which law would you prosecute him?
You miss the import of the reason for the price of crude rising, its called world demand, something that was foreseen by the bush presidency, his efforts to develop an energy policy was thwarted by Kerry filibustering the drilling of oil in our own country, which would of affected the buffering needed so demand didn't out pace supply, etc...
It's kind of amazing that world demand would shoot that far up in so short a time, that not drilling in an Alaska wildlife preserve would send oil prices skyrocketing like that. Could you perhaps link to some sort of study that shows such an incredibly drastic rise in world demand for oil?
And heck, if one wildlife preserve is all it takes to send oil prices spiralling out of control, maybe we should do like Kerry says and look into some alternate energy sources?
The democrats have a social agenda
I didn't ask you for social efforts, Whatever. I asked for a case where the Democrats have attempted to infringe on your legal right to say whatever you want. I already showed you one for the Bush administration.
The bible says
Doesn't really matter, does it? The Constitution says the Bible don't count for shit when it comes to making laws.
so what George did was protect the sanctity of marriage
How exactly did he do this? What marriages were in danger of being desanctified? Specific marriages, please.
and how can you fault this, cause its God that santifies a marriage
Because God is irrelevant to the US Government.
Nobody's asking for churches to sanctify gay marriages unless they want to. But the US Government is a different story.

It should really be very simple. Kerry should say, I'm going to do this this and this by doing this this and this. Bush should say, that won't work; here's why; I'm going to do this this and this... etc...
You know, I absolutely agree with this. But so long as the media continues to be complicit in the Swift Boat lies, we're not going to be hearing about the real issues of the campaign - health insurance costs, the sluggish economy, outrageous environmental degredation, mismangement of the war on terror, etc.
Obviously Kerry's trying to get the Swift Boat Liars out of the media; you'd think exposing them as mendacious schemers would have done that. Bush publicly supports Kerry's accounts of his service; naturally he's worried that the focus on Kerry's service will spill over to his own service inconsistencies.
I for one welcome a return to the real issues of this campaign; unfortunately the media and the Swiftie liars don't seem to want that to happen.
HOWEVER, Europe has been reluctant and in many cases unwilling to put real effort into the fight. If they just aren't going to help, I say, why beg and plead and wait around for them to change their minds? Action needs to be taken immediately.
We don't have enough troops to fight all these fronts alone. It's just that simple. We could bomb nations and cut a swath of scorched earth and fuck nation-building - but then we start to pose a threat to all the other nations.
It's like living in an apartment. Downstairs, you know there's this guy who beats his kids and his wife, sells drugs out of his apartment, and plays music at all hours. (The really bassy kind that shakes your walls all night.)
He's a threat to everybody, for sure. He's the apartment bully. The problem is if you take matters into your own hands and just go down and shoot him one day, you've become the apartment bully. Great, you solved the problem, but you also removed any ability to solve future problems, because now none of your neighboors trust you.
Unilateral action doesn't work in the long run. This is obvious to anyone who isn't paralyzed by a fear of boogyman terrorists.

Great, you solved the problem, but you also removed any ability to solve future problems, because now none of your neighboors trust you.
I'm always kind of amazed at people's inability to get the idea that global actions have global consequences.
Twenty years ago we were running roughshod all over the globe, fighting back the communists, not giving a rat's balls about the consequences of what we were doing.
As a direct result? Saddam Hussein. Osama bin Laden. The Taliban.
So now, we need to get rid of all these horrid people and groups we put in place or allowed to come to power in order to fight the Communists. So what do we do? Run roughshod all over the globe, fighting back the terrorists, not giving a rat's balls about the consequences of what we're doing.
I wonder what sort of big fun we'll have twenty years from now?

"Archeologists near mount Sinai have discovered what is believed to be a missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon dated in Bonn. If genuine, it belongs at the beginning of the Bible and is believed to read, 'To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are fictitous, and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.' The page has been universally condemned by church leaders."
