GIA said: Killing humans is a sin. Right? The people chose death instead of the love of God. Its the same in the USA, you cannot murder someone without the concequences(I.E. Death penaty, or life sentance). There are always concequences for our actions, whether we want them or not. The people were warned about the flood by Enoch and Noah for hundreds of years, they were perfectly capable of stopping themselves from sinning, they just chose not to. You cannot call it genocide, or murder if the person(s) disregarded the law, was warned that they would be punished(by death), and givin a chance to stop.
Feeling sorry for an act is repentence. Right? He wasn't sorry that He did it, He was sorry that He had to do it. The bible says God became sorry that He even made humans. Raph Truth is still Truth, Whether One or a Thousand People believe it.

Interesting speculation but it does not answer the question of why God would punish the killer of a killer with more than He would punish the first killer Hinself.
Showing veneration for life is one thing. Not appliying justice to the first killer is another. It is not justice to let a killer go without some punishment. Here God just lets him go free. A strange situation that I am trying to glean policy from. RegardsDL

You make it sound like God made an error in judjement. Impossible for a God I should think. Especiaslly with this--
Deuteronomy 32:4He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. What happened t God's perfect works? Why would He kill His perfect souls? Perfect works and souls cannot just sudenly turn God's perfection to imperfection. We do not have that kind of power do we? RegardsDL

It is not justice to let a killer go without some punishment. Why not? Maybe you don't understand what justice is? Have you considered that? ...Onward to Victory is the last great illusion the Republican Party has left to sell in this country, even to its own followers. They can't sell fiscal responsibility, they can't sell "values," they can't sell competence, they can't sell small government, they can't even sell the economy. -- Matt Taibbi

Never.
Ask any that have had a loved one murdered if no punishment is justice. If you get agreement then I might consider reevaluating my position. RegardsDL

Speaking of Oklahoma. Did you not enjoy the justice given to your famous bombers or do you think they should have walked freely from their crime?

The words don't mean "more". It's an idiom. If you really want to know what the Bible means, you need to study the language and the culture.

We do not have that kind of power do we? Yes we do. God gave it to us as the freedom of choice. We can choose His love and live, or we can choose sin and death. Simple as that. GIA said: Did God ask the children and babies as well? No. He sent prophets (Enoch and Noah) to warn the people that a flood was coming, and the people rejected the idea. Evidently, they didnt care about their children and babies. It was the foolishness of the parents that led to the death of their children.
Genocide is evil and a sin. If not then let us cheer on God and ask for another. Yes it is. Genocide is a terrible sin, but instead of blaming God for the deaths of all the people who CHOSE to die, blame the author of death, Satan, and the people whose chose his way instead of God's. GIA, to quote what someone said, you type [ qs ](content)[ /qs ] Raph Truth is still Truth, Whether One or a Thousand People believe it.

No. You questioned my recognition of justice. I was reciprocating.

Then I would just end up as confused as the original interpreters.

Well, if the flood was an example of His love then I am glad that Eve made the right choice and chose death over ignorance and a genocidal maniac.
Do you know of any other organic life form that does not die? Would you really want to live forever with a body and an empty mind? RegardsDL
